Day 1 / Arrival
Arrival in Armenia, meeting at Zvartnots airport and transfer to the hotel. Evening walk in Yerevan. From the Cascade complex, we will walk through the city of Yerevan. We will visit the Opera and Ballet Building, Abovyan Street, Moscow Cinema, Republic Square, where we will participate in the "Singing Fountains" show. Return to the hotel and overnight in Yerevan.
2nd day / Garni - Geghard - Ararat Brandy factory
Breakfast. Trip to the village Garni, Kotayk region, visit to the pagan temple of Garni. Then a short walk to Garni Dzor, where we will see the wonderful "Stone Symphony" monument created by nature. In the village of Garni, we will participate the traditional Armenian lavash baking master class. Visit to the Geghardavank monastery complex, which is included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. Return to Yerevan.Return to Yerevan. Visit Ararat Brandy.Overnight in Yerevan.
Breakfas. Trip to Ararat region. Visit to Khor Virap monastery complex. Khor Virap is a monastic complex of historical significance for Armenia, here Saint Gregory the Illuminator, the first Catholicos of All Armenians, was imprisoned for 13 years for preaching Christianity by order of the Armenian pagan King Trdat III. Continuing our journey, we will travel to Vayots Dzor region. We will visit Noravank Monastery in the 13th century. monastic complex, which is a unique structure with its beautiful architecture and location. Our next stop will be the village Areni, which is famous for its viticulture and the production of high-quality wines. Here we will visit the Old Areni Winery, where we will learn about the production of Armenian wine and taste Armenian wine. Continuing our journey, we will govto Jermuk. Jermuk is a resort town known for its healing mineral waters and beautiful nature. Visit to a waterfall called Jraharsi Varsar. Overnight in Jermuk.
Breakfast and check out from the hotel. From Jermuk we will go to Gegharkunik region. You will pass through the Vardenyats (Selimi) mountain pass, where we will see the caravanserai of the Orbelians built in the 14th century, which played an important role as a parking lot on the Silk Road. Stop in the village of Artsvanist, visit to the Vanevank Monastery Complex , founded in the 10th century. Continuing our trip, we will visit Martuni, where located Horse Riding Club. Return to Yerevan, overnight in Yerevan.
Breakfast. Trip to Aragatsotn region. We will visit the village of Ohanavan. The Hovhannavank monastery complex, built in the 4th-13th centuries, is located on the right edge of the Kasagh River gorge, in a high and picturesque place.It is considered one of the unique historical monuments of the Middle Ages. Continuing our trip, we will visit the village of Voskevaz, where is located the Voskevaz wine factory founded in 1932. The revival of the factory started in 2004. Wine tasting. Our next trip will be Dashtadem village, where we will visit Dashtadem Fortress, it is believed that it was built in the 7th century. Return to Yerevan, overnight in Yerevan.
Breakfast. Trip to Tsaghkadzor. We will visit the Tsaghkadzor cable car, which is on the eastern slope of Mount Teghenis, the high-speed cable car will take you to a height of 2819 meters, from where a wonderful view opens. Continuing on the road, our next stop will be the Sevanavank monastery complex, one of the ancient Armenian monastic complexes, built in the year 305. Then we will go to Dilijan, one of the most beloved cities of Armenia, which is called "Little Switzerland". We will visit Haghartsin monastery complex, then we will visit Lake Parz. Return to Yerevan, overnight in Yerevan
