HISTORICAL TOUR

Day 1 / Arrival – City tour
Transfer from Zvartnots airport to the hotel. Transfer to the hotel. Evening walk in Yerevan. Welcome dinner at the Armenian national restaurant.
2nd day / Garni-Geghard-Yerevan
Breakfast. Trip to the village Garni, Kotayk region, visit to the pagan temple of Garni. Then a short walk to Garni Dzor, where we will see the wonderful "Stone Symphony" monument created by nature. In the village of Garni, we will participate the traditional Armenian lavash baking master class. Visit to the Geghardavank monastery complex, which is included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. Return to Yerevan.Visit to the "Megeryan Carpet" carpet factory, where a rich collection of carpets with various ornaments typical of Armenian culture is presented, we will get to know Armenian carpet making. Return to the hotel and overnight.
3rd day / Dashtadem - Gyumri-Marmashen
Breakfast. Trip to region of Aragatsotn. Visit to the Fortress Dashtadem, which situayed in village Dashtadem. It is believed that it was built in the 7th century. Our next trip will be region of Shirak. We will visit the second largest city and cultural center of Armenia, Gyumri. City tour in Gyumri, which is rich in attractions. The other stop will be monastery complex Marmashen, which is located on the left bank of the Akhuryan River. The monastery complex attracts many tourists with its unique architecture and magnificent view. Return to Yerevan, overnight in Yerevan.
4th day / Khor Virap - Noravank - Areni - Goris
Breakfast. First, we will go to region of Ararat and visit the Khor Virap monastery complex. Khor Virap is a monastery complex of historical importance for Armenia, here Saint Gregory the Illuminator, the first Catholicos of All Armenians, was imprisoned for 13 years for preaching Christianity by the order of the Armenian pagan king Trdat III. Continue our trip, we will drive to region of Vayots Dzor. We will visit the Noravank 13th century monastery complex, which is a unique structure with its beautiful architecture and location. Our next stop will be the village of Areni, which is famous for its viticulture and the production of high quality wines. Here we will visit the Old Areni Winery factory, where we will learn about Armenian wine production and taste Armenian wine. From where we will go to the southern part of Armenia, region of Syunik. Drive to Goris, check-in a hotel.
5th day / Goris-Khndzoresk-Tatev - Jermuk - Yerevan
Breakfast. City tour in Goris. Trip to Old Khndzoresk village.Old Khndzoresk is famous for its old cave dwellings. Khndzoresk is rich in attractions, the swinging bridge is especially famous. Trip to Tatev village, we will visit the Tatev monastery complex, which is located on the right bank of the Vorotan River, from where opens a beautiful view. The Tatev monastery complex is one of the unique and important monastery complexes in Armenia, which has a rich history. The wings of Tatever is considered the longest cable car in the world. From here, a beautiful view of the deep gorge opens before the eyes of tourists. Continuing our journey, we will go to Jermuk. Jermuk is a resort town, famous for its healing mineral waters and beautiful nature. Visit to the waterfall called Jraharsi Varsar. Trip to Yerevan and overnight in Yerevan.
Day 6 / Free day
7th day / Sevan-Dilijan-Yerevan
Breakfast. Trip to Lake Sevan, one of the greatest high mountainous fresh water lakes of Eurasia. Sailing in Sevan. We will visit Sevanavank Monastery, one of the oldest Armenian monasteries, built in 305. Then we will go to Dilijan, one of the most beloved cities in Armenia. Dilijan is rich in its nature and lush forests, the city is called "Little Switzerland". We will visit Haghartsin 10th century monastery complex, then we will visit Lake Parz. Return to Yerevan, overnight in Yerevan.
Transfer to Zvartnots airport.Departure.
